Elimstat.com is a manufacturer storefront that also publishes ESD Training. These standards explain how that training is written, checked, corrected, and disclosed — including our commercial relationship and any use of AI.
How we write ESD Training
ESD Training exists to help buyers set up an ESD protected area (EPA) and understand common ANSI/ESD practices. It is manufacturer-authored education, not a news desk and not an independent testing lab.
A named person is responsible for every published article. Bylines link to an author page so you can see who wrote the piece and how they work with Elimstat.
Articles answer setup and specification questions. They are not a substitute for your facility’s ESD program, a qualified auditor, or the current ANSI/ESD standard text.
How we check facts
We do not run a separate newsroom fact-checking department. Claims are checked as follows:
- Statements about industry practice are checked against the relevant ANSI/ESD document (for example S20.20, S4.1, S7.1, or TR53) or another source cited in the article.
- Numbers about Elimstat products come from our spec sheets and test data, not from an independent laboratory unless the article says otherwise.
- If we cannot verify a claim against a standard, a spec sheet, or first-hand work with the product, we do not publish it as fact.
Corrections
If an article is wrong, email sales@elimstat.com with the page URL and the issue.
A substantive error — one that changes a technical instruction, a measured value, or a recommendation — is corrected on the article with a dated note and an updated last-modified date. Typos, formatting, and similar small repairs may be fixed without a notice.
We do not keep a separate public corrections archive. The article itself is the record.
AI use
A named human writes and is responsible for every ESD Training article. AI is never listed as the author.
AI may be used as a writing aid (for example an outline or phrasing). Before publish, the named author checks technical claims against the relevant ANSI/ESD standard and Elimstat spec sheets. Superficial spelling or grammar help is not a substitute for that review.
The Ion Flow chatbot on this site answers product and order questions. It does not write the training library.

Elimstat.com is owned by Bennett & Bennett, Inc., a static-control manufacturer founded in 1991 and headquartered in Yellow Springs, Ohio. We manufacture and sell the products discussed in ESD Training — smocks, lab coats, mats, grounding hardware, monitors, and related supplies.
Training articles may link to product pages on this site. Those links are not paid reviews and we do not use an affiliate network for them. Coverage of a product does not mean it is the only option that can meet a standard; it means it is what we make and can explain from first-hand work.
